i notice u dont add a little bit of black soya sauce to give it some colour…and salt. just asking, i am not criticising. just curious . this dish is a fried rice dish, and whenever i make fried rice,i always add black soya sauce, to give it colour. dont you find the pale colour a bit offputting? is it only me who like the colour it gives to food? pork and rice look very pale without black soya sauce. you dont need a lot to give it that colour.
I do not use salt or black soya sauce for fried rice. A healthy version I guess. But yes, black soya sauce would be great!
you know, u made me think… black soya sauce can blanket everything. it will hide the colourful combination u have… without it, the colours of the carrots, peas, fried onions, chilis, eggs, would make the dish look really nice. i think i shall do it the way u do, and enjoy the colours of this dish.
Great!! I am glad you find this recipe of use to you! Let me know if you enjoy it ha ha
oh, i notice u have 3 red thai chillis there, so that must give it a nice colour… but it must make the dish really spicy hot.
I like it spicy! Ha ha yes to others who do not take chillis.
yummy, but no onion(s) for me, please!!! xié-xié in advance! 🙂
