Orchid Garden In Botanical Gardens…Part 1

on December 23, 2016

Today was a special treat as the Orchid Gardens gave free entry for Singaporeans.

Typically it costs SGD5 per adult.

We went on the tropical rainforest walk.

Started off with the santa decorations and Garfield’s mice friends ha ha!

Then nephew, sis and I started our walk.

Saw this huge tree with great roots.

Saw a monitor lizard….really not shy and did not dart away. It was busy digging the ground for food!

The board walk….

I thought the leaves on the rails looked like holly! Ha ha our local species!

Do read the next post for lovely orchids ๐Ÿ˜Š
