Our Chinese New Year Lo Hei Dish that is uniquely Sungaporean. This is how this auspicious salad looks like before it is “tossed”
This is how we toss the salad. The higher it goes, the more prosperity and good health we all will enjoy.
We ate that with 6 inch Subway sandwiches with Subway chewy cookies and a special cookies from HK.
Below was our vegetarian dinner at Fo Guan Shan.
Appetiser was a fruit salad in mayo sauce.
Table was laid with vegetarian food….mimicking beef rendang (*beef curry) with potato, yong tau hoo (*pan fried bittergourd, brinjal, toufu wedges, vegetarian squid rings, vegetarian meat spring roll, fried cabbage with black fungi, lotus root and black bean soup, served with lotus seed tea.
Dessert was a fruit plate.
