Celebrating Mum’s Birthday Friday

on February 11, 2017

I was too excited with the glorious sight of new Thai dishes that we all dug in before I took photos.

Above is Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs and Pork Ball Soup in Seaweed Soup.

We ate up all the Thai fish cake before I remembered to take a photo.

Above dish is Money Bags filled with finely chopped turnips with minced chicken.

Below is Kang Kong or water convolvulus vegetable stir fried with garlic.

Mum’s birthday cake was sticky glutinous rice with very ripe mango (sweet and fragrant) and steamed tapioca with coconut milk.

Mum was happy as the regular waitresses did their singing of a birthday song for het with a lit candle on sticky glutinous rice.

My way of celebrating mum’s birthday with dad!
