Agree! How in the world can these local authorities approve such a road name! I cringe if I have to put that in any application form or apply for utility service as I am sure the service provider or potential employer will look at be quizzically and wonder if I am “fit” LOL!
There is a Pottsville, PA, which is a name no Jewish person will put down as a place of residence as it means a part of male anatomy not named in polite company. There is also a Joppa town which makes every Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish-speaking person choke with laughter and inquire whether every resident of this town is an arse, since that’s what it means. Shall I continue?
