CM’s Food Porn #39 – German Food

on August 11, 2018

Classmate (CM) shared that he had lunch at a German restaurant today.

He was ravenously hungry and ate as usual, alot!

First course was soup. He had 2 bowls:- French onion and wild mushroom with pretzels.

To me, it was a meal in itself but for CM, it was a starter!

The infamous German Pork knuckle was his choice with a side of German breads.

He is really a foodie!

i have been here, it is just ok to me, very salty and overpriced, i think we can prepare better at home, but your friend can really eat!

I have not been to this restaurant as I prefer German food at Paulaner Brauhaus. It is more authenic I feel and has a great dark beer. CM is really huge on appetite. I would have that amount to last me 2 weeks of meals. 😃

i see the volume and yes agree, we could share everything he ate and still have leftovers. I like trying different restaurants and cuisines but always go back to basics, kopitiam heaven! maybe also because we cook a lot at home we become pickier and more critical. I am just glad we have access to choices. Not many authentic German restaurants here, we don’t Paulaner here. Yes I like a good dark brew, it must have that bitterness and edginess.
