My Legs Are Stiffening

on May 20, 2019

It is horrid to find that my legs are getting stiffer by the day!

I wonder why as there is no plausible reason as I walk a lot and stay mobile?

My auto immunologist and rheumatologist suggested that it is because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis.

It is true as my hand joints of fingers do hurt when I flex my fingers often to ensure it stays nimble and circulated.

But it is also true that my spine is also protesting.

My neurosurgeon attributes it to neuropathy – my nerves were compressed a heck of a long time before I was operated on and it takes a long while for my spinal nerves to reboot and heal itself.

I have come to a point whereby given there is so much pain going on in my body, I gave up on embrocation rubs as all it does is dull the place and then the pain returns.

I have also given up on pain killers as the end result of ingesting all those pain meds will end up hurting my kidneys more than the act of pain relief.

So, everyday, it is a pain.

Literally a pain!

Pain worsens when it rains!

Pain worsens even with impending rains!

Pain is a four letter word.

Pain is forgotten when I work.

Pain is going to be with me, till the day I die.

How droll is that?

It is hard to know what to say. Pain is a difficult thing, so many suffer in different ways.i try to use home remedies to manage what I can. I pray you find relief and can keep walking.

Thank you Sandra for your kind thoughts and prayers. If I look at people worst off without mobility then I should not complain. Meanwhile, walk I must!! Garfield hugs💕🤗

Pain is exactly all that you say. I do hope you can have a few good days and a break from constant pain. It wears one down.
