The September school holidays for 1 week is here.

Parents cannot travel in light of the Covid-19 situation and our local tourism board has been advocating for parents to discover local sights!
We have street names that are named after states in Malaysia. Why? It could be that during our short historical merger with Malaysia prior to our Independence in 1965 when we achieved nation hood, the residents who lived there may have well originated from those Malaysian streets (?)
So, if I am a parent, I could drive to these streets and technically inject humor to the children that hey, you have been all over the peninsular of Malaysia in one afternoon or morning! LOL!
This 1 week’s holiday is going to be tough on parents as with them working from home, the squealing of children and effectively drive them nuts!
Covid-19 is indeed cramping the style of school holidays where parents can fly off to Japan or Bali or Taiwan for a week of holidays!
It must be hard for families with school kids. Many countries have made them stay home and be home-schooled – while the parents still try to work!
It is indeed! My colleagues are stressing out
School kids have been at home for months here! Thank goodness for social media – they seem to be surviving! 😀
Yes, social media is handy when you are stuck in Lock Downs!
😀
