Once when I moved into a not-so-good neighborhood, a friend suggested nailing a chicken foot and maybe parts of a fetish doll (dismembered) to my front door, haha, I decided it might do more harm than good 😆

I used to encourage this belief in my children (that I was a witch). It was founded on the fact that I always knew where they were when they shouldn’t have been there.
When you have four kids you have a LOT of parent friends to inform on them.
I may have to try this. They think I can just go on screaming myself hoarse, telling them to behave, while they just keep on doing what they’re doing. I babysit my siblings a lot, and it makes me feel so stupid when I yell like that to no avail, and then Dad walks in, looks at them, and all is well. Sigh.
